In addition to the G.P.A. and core course requirements, students must have been a resident of Nevada for at least two of the four high school years, pass all sections of the Nevada High School Proficiency test, and graduate from a Nevada high school. The 14 core units consist of four years of English, four years of mathematics (including Algebra II), three years of natural science, and three years of social science/history. For more information on the Millennium Scholarship Program, visit http://nevadatreasurer.gov.

New SAT Score-Reporting To Take Effect

Beginning with the March 2009 SAT test administration, students will be able to select the SAT scores (by test date) that they feel best represent their ability to colleges and universities. This new score reporting policy is designed to reduce student stress and improve the test-day experience. In the past, colleges and universities were provided with all SAT Reasoning and/or SAT Subject test scores. Students who have taken the SAT prior to March 2009 will be able to take advantage of the new policy retroactively. For more information, visit www.collegeboard.com.
