The artwork pictured below was created by 5th grade student, Lydia Duan,
as part of an art contest sponsored by the
Nevada Youth Alliance.
The work titled "Ode to Peace, Sounds of Harmony",
won first place and visually depicted what peace means to Lydia.

since peace is love and joy, no fighting, working together,
