Class Web Pages

The teachers at Beatty Elementary have created and maintain their own web pages. Important class information and assignments are posted regularly throughout the school year. Homework assignments are updated every week. The Beatty Class Web Pages are a great way to stay in touch with your teacher and classroom.

YEARBOOK SALE

Start 2011 off right by ordering your copy of the Beatty yearbook! This year’s edition is a hardback, full-color book that captures the activities for the school year. The yearbook has a sewn binding to help it last for years to come. From class photos to class candids, field trips to Field Day, this is your chance to remember the school year forever.         Sending in pictures for the yearbook has never been easier.  The yearbook company (Memory Book) has a new feature that makes sharing picures super easy!  It's called "Photo Share".  If you have pictures you would like to see in the yearbook you can upload them to our secure photo album.   Here's the log in information for Photo Share........The web address=

 Dress Up Days

Show your spirit and have fun dressing up on Dress Up Days. On the same days we have What's For Dinner events, students can participate in a theme dress up day. Creativity and originality are encouraged. Just remember that what you wear to school must be school appropriate. If you have PE on a dress up day, please bring clothes and tennis shoes to change into for Mrs. Ozawa's class. All students are expected to participate in PE, regardless of the dress up day theme.   Be Kind shirt days are on Mondays or the first day of the week in case of a school holiday.  Spirit days will be announced.

BOX TOPS FOR BEATTY

Like last year, Beatty Elementary is collecting Box Tops For Education. New this year is how they are being turned in. Boxtops can be turned into the mailbox outside RM53 in a bag with the grade-level on it. Grades will earn fun rewards when they get to 1000 and 2000 boxtops! Money that is earned will go to bettering the school and providing supplies to teachers.

Where can I get Box Tops? 
Box Tops can be found on hundreds of products from brands like General Mills, Ziploc, Pillsbury, Kleenex, Betty Crocker, and Hefty. A complete list is available at BoxTops4Education.com.

Once I get Box Tops, what do I do with them? 
Get your Box Tops ready to use at the Box Top Shop by cutting them out along the dotted line and taping them 10 to a sheet. You can cut a piece of standard size paper (8 1/2" x 11") into 1/4 sheets and tape your Box Tops to that.

The Clark County School District provides ParentLink, a computer-based system used to track grades and attendance. Simply enter the login ID and password that have been provided to you to review you child's information. If you do not have a login ID and password, please contact the school office.

SCHOOL LUNCHES:  Pay for your child's meals on line at www.schoolpaymentsolutions.com.  Breakfast is $1.25 and Lunch is $1.75.  Your child may be eligible for free or reduced price meals.  Complete a family application today.  applications are available at every school or online at www.applyforlunch.com.

• Have you joined the PTA this year? Being a member of the PTA allows you a voice in your school and your school system. By joining the PTA, you earn the right to vote at PTA meetings on programs and events that effect your child's life. Dues are $10.00 per person per year.  To join, simply complete a membership form. • Nevada Revised Statute 392.600 requires each site to annually review and update their School Crisis Response Plan.  The John R. Beatty Crisis Response Team has completed this review and has updated our 2010-2011 Crisis Response Plan. All required elements have been completed and are in compliance with NRS 392.600, a copy of which is posted in the main office.
