Students in third, fourth, and fifth grade are assessed with the Criterion Referenced Tests each spring as part of the Nevada Proficiency Examination Program. For more information about the CRT and other tests is available on the State Testing page of the Beatty web site.

While the subjects on this page are not considered "core subjects", they are still taught every week. Art, music, PE, and Library specialists teach students 50 minutes per week (100 minutes for PE). Health is taught by classroom teachers, usually during science time. Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum.
