Standards Based Report Cards

The Clark County School District Elementary Report Card was developed to report student progress toward meeting the Nevada Content Standards. These standards are used by classroom teachers for planning and delivering instruction as well as monitoring student learning and progress.

The Clark County School District Elementary Report Card is issued to parents three times a year at the end of each trimester. Dates for this school year are listed below and on the C.C.S.D. Student Progress Report Attendance Calendar document.

Grade Sheets

To help keep track of the standards that are taught each trimester, you can use the grade sheets below. The documents were created using Microsoft Word and can be edited to add your class roster.

  • Use the "Student List" document to record the scores students earn for assignments in each subject.

  • The Grading Sheets have the Power Standards listed by trimester. If you write the name of the assignment at the top of the column, and check off the power standards that correspond, this document can serve two purposes:

    1. The Grading Sheet can help you track which Power Standards have been taught and which need more attention over the course of the trimester.

    2. The Grading Sheet will remind you of the standards to attach to each assignment when you enter grades into EasyGrade Pro.

Which Standards Are On the Report Card?

Report Card StandardsEach trimester, the Benchmark standards for reading, writing and math change. Only the standards in the current grading period are reflected on the report card. All assignments must be attached to at least one current standards (or as many as ten) when being entered into Easy Grade Pro.

According to CCSD, the SBRC (Standards Based Report Card) "includes grade level Power Standards for reading, writing, and math. Power Standards are standards that have been identified as essential learning standards. The standards are placed in the gradebook according to the trimester benchmark in which proficiency is measured. For example, a standard in which proficiency is measured during the 2nd trimester will appear in the 2nd trimester of the gradebook and thus reported on the 2nd trimester report card."
