Accelerated Reader At K. R. Booker Sr. ES

The Accelerated Reader program (AR) is used to make essential
reading practice more effective for every student.

How Does It Work?
1. Students choose and read books at their own level.
2. When they understand the content of the reading, they go to
a computer and login to the AR Internet site:

3. Students take a quiz that will test their understanding of the
book they read.
4. Students earn points based on how well they complete the
quiz questions.
5. Students accumulate points which can be used to purchase 
items at the AR Store.
6. The AR Store is open at lunch time on Wednesdays.
