Congratulations to Paxton Fleming!  She is the female Nevada Wendy’s Heisman Winner!  She won from all of the state applicants for her commitment to athletics, academics, and community service!  Paxton has worked hard for this recognition.  This is the second year in a row that a Boulder City High School student has received the state Heisman honor.

We are collecting old cell phones.  Please drop them off at Barb’s room or SAC.

The BCHS color guard will be having an informational meeting for anyone interested in participating in the 2010 winter guard season.  The meeting will be Tuesday the 17th at 2:30 pm in the band room.  See you there.

There will be a canned food drive on the 16th – 20th.  Please help out by bringing canned foods to your 2nd hour class.  The winners will receive a prize!

Freshman t-shirts and sweats on sale now.  Get an order form from a class officer.  They are due by November 19th.

Attention all volleyball players. The banquet is this Thursday at 6pm in the SAC. B-team players are to bring a dessert item, JV team players are to bring a side dish and varsity team members are to bring a main dish item. If you have any questions please see Coach Roe.

The Talon Newspaper has started a column to help you.  Need advice on a problem with school, sports or friends?  Drop it off in Ms. Olsen’s room 629 and the Talon could give your problem the advice it needs, and it could end up in the school newspaper!

Auditions for the third annual Short Play Festival will be after school today, Wednesday and Thursday.  There are many great roles and everyone is encouraged to audition.
