Walter Bracken Turns 50
Walter Bracke ES 50 years ago!
This year Walter Bracken Magnet Empowerment School for Math and Science through Technology turns 50 years old. To celebrate our 50th year, all staff members wore commemorative shirts on the first day of school. Please visit our namesake's web page.

Besides a name change, many positive changes have happened at Walter Bracken Magnet Empowerment School for Math and Science through Technology over the past 50 years; many changes have taken place in just the past few years thanks to support and encouragement of CCSD administration, teachers, support staff, students, parents and community partners. Please join us on March 1, 2012, as Walter Bracken celebrates its 50th anniversary and dedicates the Terry Lanni Garden. Activities will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the MP Room. Click here for the Garden Party Flyer.

Walter Bracken Empowerment School recognized as a President's Challenge Demonstration Center. Bracken was chosen as a demonstration center because of the school's effort to promote regular physical activity and fitness in the school and community.
