Making a Giant Candy Land Board Game in the Bracken Courtyard

Many volunteers descended on Bracken to help paint the courtyard sidewalk to resemble a giant Candy Land board game. It took the volunteers just over three hours to do the painting. Roteract and student volunteers are in the process of putting the finishing touches on the board by drawing directions and board actions.

Kideract and 25-Club students pitched in to paint the sidewalk in front of the Kindergarten classrooms. Click here to see these pictures.

Miss Steitle's Fifth Grade Music students sang the national anthem during opening exercises. Her drummers helped with the performance. Students from all grades contributed to the stripes on the American flag. Teachers provided the stars.
