Welcome to Cowboy Country Athletics!

Our 2009-2010 Fall sports season will begin August 27, 2008 with a varsity football game at Silverado.  Please do plan on attending our home and away games for all Chaparral sports teams. Join the fun and cheer our Cowboys to victory.

Coach Shenoa Davis was promoted to Chaparral Athletic Director in May 2009.  Coach Davis is loved and respected by students and faculty alike.  Chaparral High School is honored and thrilled to have her as a member of our family. Be sure to read her biography below.

Participation in College Athletics

Athletic Director, Shenoa Davis

Our Athletic Director - Coach Shenoa Davis

Shenoa Davis graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education.  While there, she was a participant on EIU's Women's Track team where she was a 2-time varsity letter winner and earned All-Conference Academic Honors. She then attended the University of Houston where she earned her Master's Degree and assisted the Track & Field Team as a Graduate Assistant.

She has been in the Clark County School District for 10 years as a physical educator and track coach.  In 2000, she was a member of a coaching staff that won the State Track & Field Championship, Runner's Up titles in 2001, 2002, 2003 and has had numerous nationally ranked athletes.  She was also a member of the Cowboys' Regional Championship Track & Field staff in 2008.  Her coaching experience also includes volleyball, cross country, and cheerleading.

In addition, she serves as the Instructional Manager for Chaparral's Physical Education staff.  Shenoa is married and has two children.
