HOMECOMING WEEK

We want to thank Jana Bridges  and the Student Council for all their hard work in making Homecoming Week so fun!  We all had a great week. 

We also want to thank our Performing Arts groups who made the assembly exciting.  The participants did great!

 

Congratulations Dragons!!!!

Volleyball (V) beat Silverado on Thursday.

Soccer (V) beat Basic 2-0 on Friday.

Football (V) beat Centennial 6-0 on Friday.  Now the team is 7-0!!!

Student Council organized a spectacular week for all.

Performing Arts groups…wow, what an assembly!!

Cross Country set a new Del Sol record and earned 3 All SE League Honors on Saturday

 

Dragon Runners

Colin Smith, Nick Priego and Casey Walter earned All Southeast League Honors at last Saturday's League Championship Meet at SECTA.  Colin Smith's time of 16:58 set a new Del Sol school record for 5K.  Congratulations

 

Attention college-bound 11th grade students!  The Moving On, College and Career book  is in!  You may pick up your copy at the Career Center in the library. (MB 10/21)

COLLEGE FAIR at CASHMAN CENTER

Juniors and Seniors!  There is a bus going to the COLLEGE FAIR at Cashman Center from Del Sol High School! This will be Wednesday, October 28th.  We will be leaving at 4:30 pm and arriving back at Del Sol HS at 8:30 pm.  If you are interested, you need to sign up in the Counseling Office TODAY! VARSITY QUIZ

Attention all members of the Varsity Quiz team.  Today directly after our regular 1:30 practice we will hold a team meeting beginning at 2:30.  In this meeting we'll discuss team captains, uniforms and other important things, so be there!  Also, remember that our next match is Tuesday against Liberty and we'll be leaving Del Sol at 3:15.

 

ACCESS to the GYM & LOCKER ROOMS

In order to enter the locker rooms, you must arrive at the locker room doors on time.  Once your teacher and class leave the locker room, you will not be let into the locker room.  You will not be able to dress out and you will lose points for the day. After school, all athletes must enter the locker room as a group and with their coach.  Students are NOT allowed in the locker room without a coach.  If you arrive 15 minutes late to practice, find your coach or miss practice.  Office staff and campus monitors will not let you into the locker room unless there is a medical emergency. FREE AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING!!

There will be free after school tutoring for Juniors and Seniors for Math Proficiency every Tuesday and Wednesday right after school from 1:30-3:30pm in room 805. The test is November 16th and is very, very important.  Students can come late or leave early.  (TM 10/29)

DODGE BALL

Do you like to dodge?  If so, you should sign up for KEY Club's Dodge for Unicef Tournament on October 29th from 2:30 - 6:30pm in the auxiliary gym.  Registration fee is $5/person and all teams will be made up of twelve members.  All Del Sol Students are invited to participate.  If you would like more information, come to Room 822. GIRLS SOCCER

All female athletes who are interested in playing soccer, remember to go to an important meeting today after school in Mr. Britt’s room- Room 410.  (JB 10/19)

 

 SENIORS!  Are you really going to college?!?  Do you have questions about applying to college, affording the high cost of college or what to study?  College Night for Seniors at Del Sol High School is Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. to help you with all of these questions.  Information on colleges, financial aid, scholarships and more!  All the local colleges will be there for you to talk to.  Get more information in the Counseling Office and the Career Center within the Library.  (MB 10/22)
