ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 

AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS & ACTIVITIES….

NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE GYM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-Students may not wait in the lower courtyard without a coach or advisor present

-Students will be directed to exit the courtyard to wait

-Students are not to be in the gym lobby area at all!!

-Students may not be in the gym after school unless their group is practicing with their coach

-Students will follow the directions of all teachers/coaches/administrators/security monitors or they will be removed from the team or activity

 

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY COMMUNITY HOURS

All National Honor Society members need to take their community hours totals to Ms. Meyer in room 204 today.  Stop by and turn those hours in.  (KM 11/13)

 

PRIZES for PROFICIENCY

Juniors and Seniors scheduled to take the NHSPE (proficiency exams) on November 16, 17, 18, or 19 are eligible to win a great prize.  Every time you take a test, you get a ticket and if you pass these tests now, you may get a day off school in March.  And the big prize for test participation is……a 32 inch flat screen T.V.     (TR 11/13)

 

PARENT CLASSROOM VISITS

Your parents are invited to observe one of your classes on November 20th.  If your parent observes one of your classes, you will get a BBQ lunch on November 25th.  And for the Guidance class with the highest participation rate, the whole class will get the BBQ lunch!  Hot dogs and dragonburgers on the grill!!

CELEBRATION DAY!!!!!

On Wednesday, November 18, report cards will be handed out before lunch.  If your report card shows you had perfect attendance, you will get to make your own free ice-cream sundae.  If you earned straight A’s for grades or straight O’s for citizenship, you will get a free sub sandwich from Bob’s Deli.  Bring your report card with you.  Subs in the lower courtyard.  Then head to the cafeteria to make your own ice-cream sundae.

Nov 16-19 -     NHSPE Proficiency Testing (M-Reading; T-Math; W-Writing; Th-Science)

Nov 20 -           Raffle for Flat Screen TV ~ ticket given for each NHSPE test taken ~ WOW!!

Nov 20 -           Parents invited to visit school and attend classes

Nov 24             Senior GRAD NIGHT informational meeting

Nov 25 -           Lunch for any student with parent visiting school on Nov 20, and for the whole                              guidance class with the highest % of parents visiting
