ANNOUNCEMENTS:

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

There will be a National Honor Society meeting on Thursday November 19th at 1:30 in room 204. All members are required to attend. Please turn in your service hours and we will discuss the PBJ event. (KM 11/19)

STUDENT ID NEEDED FOR CAFETERIA

STUDENTS: You need to show your STUDENT ID when buying breakfast and lunch. You will get through the lines much faster, and no one else will be able to use your number to get food if you use your ID badge. (KB 11/20)

YEARBOOK FUNDRAISERS:

All orders and money for yearbook fundraising must be turned in before or after school today. Room 224.

Attention Seniors:

The Admission Representative for UNLV will be in the College & Career Center on Monday, November 23 at 9:00 a.m. for On-Site admissions. Please have the following information when arriving for your on-site appointment: Application receipt from the completed online application (this should already be completed at home prior to the on-site appointment.) Transcripts - must be official sealed transcripts from CCSD, 12th grade schedule, copy of ACT and/or SAT scores, copy of immunization record - if student cannot provide us with these for the on-site, they will need to fax or bring the copy to UNLV.

Are you COLLEGE BOUND?

The first meeting of college bound students who need help with application procedures, essay questions, SAT tests, etc. will be held on Thursday Nov 19th at 1:30 in room 224.

PARENT CLASSROOM VISITS

Your parents are invited to observe one of your classes this Friday (11/20). If your parent observes one of your classes, you will get a BBQ lunch on November 25^th. And for the Guidance class with the highest participation rate, the whole class will get the BBQ lunch! Hot dogs and dragonburgers on the grill!!

Nov 16-19 - NHSPE Proficiency Testing (W-Writing; Th-Science)

Nov 20 - Raffle for Flat Screen TV ~ ticket given for each NHSPE test taken

Nov 20 - Parents invited to visit school and attend classes

Nov 20 - Football Championship game vs Liberty, 7pm @ Del Sol ($5 per student)

Nov 24 Senior GRAD NIGHT informational meeting-10:00-theater

Nov 25 - Lunch for any student with parent visiting school on Nov 20, and for the whole guidance class with the highest % of parents visiting

Nov 26-27 No School (Thanksgiving Holiday)

Dec 1 - Panoramic Senior Picture @ 9:00am; ***GET UP EARLY TO BE HERE ON TIME!

Dec 2-3 - Panoramic pictures on sale in cafeteria on stage during lunches
