The School-Community Partnership Program is thrilled to announce the continuation of the "Drive for Excellence" program. Please see the attached 2009-10 overview that will be shared with your counselors at their August 10, 2009, meeting.  Please note, there will only be one event this school year.  Students are required to be in attendance at the scheduled event to be eligible for prizes. The event will be held on June 2,  2010, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Posters promoting the program will be mailed to your counselor department chair prior to the start of school. If you would like additional posters to further promote this program, please call the School-Community Partnership Program office at 799-6560.

During the last three years, Desert Honda donated more than $100,000 each year to promote academic achievement and attendance with our CCSD seniors. The School-Community Partnership Program was elated to have Silver State Schools Credit Union as an additional sponsor of the program last year.  They provided additional scholarships and prizes totaling $13,000.
