In honor of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Norton is offering parents a free subscription to OnlineFamily.Norton, a new service that helps parents monitor their kids online activities.
To encourage parents to get more involved with their kids online activities, Norton is offering a grand prize of $20,000 to the school with the largest number of parents to install and use OnlineFamily.Norton. Second and third place prizes of $10,000 and $5,000 will be awarded to the schools with the highest percentage of parents participating relative to school size - so smaller schools can compete and win, too! This is a great opportunity for our school. Click here for the Del Webb OnlineFamily.Norton registration code.

District A Newsletter 11-09
The Clark County School District and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are contacting parents to inform them of the dangerous connection between texting and parties. It has become very common for young people to text each other the location of a party. Unfortunately, these texts often get forwarded to uninvited guests, causing large numbers of people—including gang members—to arrive. These out-of-control events are referred to as “text parties.” Click here to read an important message about "Text Parties" from CCSD Superintendent Walt Rulffes and Sheriff Doug Gillespie.
We believe ongoing communication between school and home is important at Del Webb Middle School. Click here to see the Clark County School District Chain of Command Flowchart identifying steps parents/guardians may take when they have a question, idea, issue or concern to bring forward. Spanish.
