The purpose of the bowling club is to give students an opportunity to have fun, make new friends, and learn about bowling. The bowling club meets at The Strike Zone in Sunset Station. Teams bowl three games a week. The bowling club is sanctioned by the USBC. Students learn bowling etiquette, practice their technique, cheer their teammates on, and above all, have FUN!
Boys' Basketball Intramural Club
This club will meet one week after basketball season ends from 2:20 until 3:30. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are the days to report to gym to play. Coaches Moloney, Stanley, and Cohen will be involved helping students gain fundamentals and playing games.

Cheerleaders
The purpose of the cheerleader group at Del Webb Middle School is to promote school spirit and unity among the students, staff, athletes, and activity groups. Cheerleaders will also represent Del Webb Middle School by participating in community functions and by fostering enthusiasm at sporting contests, assemblies, pep rallies, and other school-related activities.
The purpose of the Del Webb “Wrangler” Dance Club is to create enthusiasm for dance and performance, to promote physical fitness, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship in students of Del Webb Middle School. The Dance Club is open to boys and girls in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades at Del Webb. No experience is necessary! Members of the Dance Club will work together to create original dance moves and routines. There may be opportunities to work with other members of the community who have dance experience. Performances are optional and may include spirit assemblies and basketball game half-time shows. The Dance Club is sponsored by Mrs. Scheuerlein and Mrs. Fragoso.

Golf club is open to all Del Webb students. During the Fall and Spring each year students provide their own transportation to and from the Revere Golf Course after school. Professional instruction is provided as well as prizes and the opportunity to play nine holes on one of the two golf courses. The program runs for six weeks at no cost to students. Come out and enjoy the many benefits of playing golf.
Knit Wits Club Meeting Day: Tuesday Only

Knit Wits meets Tuesday and Thursday after school. Students are learning how to knit and are working toward creating a patchwork style blanket for charity this season. Anyone who is interested should stop by room 612 any Tuesday or Thursday and check out the knitters! They are awesome!!
Lacrosse
Mondays and Wednesdays 2:15-4:15 at Del Webb Sports Fields

Needs to be signed up with US Lacrosse, SNLA, and paid team fees. Needs full equipment.
Lacrosse is a team sport for 5-8th grade students. The boys team will practice at the Del Webb Sports Fields Monday and Wednesday after school until 4:15 pm and Saturday Mornings from 8:30-10:30am. The girls Middle School team is new and dates and times for practices are not yet available. Games start after the Best of the West Tournament in February and run until May.

NJHS is a co-curricular organization which actively supports the educational goals of Del Webb Middle School. It is a national recognition program found in every state as well as schools in more than 70 other countries. This organization provides an opportunity for significant learning experiences, especially in the area of service. It is open to all who choose to apply themselves and consequently meet the five established criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Membership is a privilege.
Student Council/Leadership
Leadership/Student Council offers students a chance to be involved in the planning of school spirit activities, assemblies, leadership conferences, and school dances. Students learn how to use cooperation and teamwork, as well as learn how to communicate and develop other leadership qualities. Students in leadership play an active role in creating a positive school environment at Del Webb and form close bonds with other students in the program. Being involved in leadership as an experience that the students will never forget!
Jr. Varsity Quiz

Junior Varsity Quiz is a knowledge based quiz bowl competition for middle school students. A one day competition is held in February with other Clark County middle schools. Tournament winners advance to a playoff bracket that culminates with a championship match at Channel 10. The Del Webb Junior Varsity Quiz team already has earned a reputation as a strong contender. In its first year, our team was able to garner a place in the top four in the CCSD middle school competition. Any student who enjoys watching Jeopardy and has always wondered what to do with all that trivia knowledge, might enjoy Junior Varsity Quiz. Junior Varsity Quiz is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
The Del Webb Wrangler Running club gives all interested students the opportunity to get fit while having fun running. The club meets Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in February.
