Lindsey Jelmberg, Health

Ms. Jelmberg was raised “where everybody knows your name,” a small, rural town called Smethport, Pennsylvania.  As an active high school member in chorus, sports, and cheerleading, she decided that her enjoyment to learn about health, wellness, and physical activity would serve the community best in a setting with young people.  To accomplish her goals, Mrs. Jelmberg studied K-12 health and physical education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Shortly after college, she moved to Nevada to teach K-5 physical education.  Her sincere desire to encourage positive and healthy choices among youth has brought her to Del Webb Middle School to instruct health.  In addition to continually learning about health, a few of Mrs. Jelmberg’s hobbies include spending time with her husband, Josh, and her dachshund, Dexter, learning how to ballroom dance, and entertaining friends and family.  She is eager to join the Del Webb Middle School community, and would like to say “Gooooooooo Wranglers!”
