The magnet programs at Desert Pines include The Academy of Informational Technology (AOIT) and The Academy of Communications (AOC). The AOIT program focuses on the rapidly changing world of modern computer technology, while the AOC program focuses on communications and media technology in our society of growing globalization and communication. Parentlink is the network which most high schools use to manage their grade books, attendance, and provide information to the students and parents. It enables teachers, students, and parents to be more updated with grades and progress reports. Each student and parent(s) are given an activation code for ParentLink in order to make an account to keep track of scholastic activities.
