My name is Rob Rava, the lucky person that has the honor of being the assistant principal of such a great school. Welcome to Ruthe Deskin Elementary School home of the Eagles, who constitute approximately 700 of the finest students in the Clark County School District!

A little about me...

I was born and raised in Glendale, Pennsylvania.  I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University in Western Pennsylvania.  I received both my Masters of Reading Instruction degree and my Educational Specialist degree in Administration from Nova Southeastern University here in Las Vegas.  I moved to Las Vegas in 1996 to begin my teaching career.  I have taught 5^th grade and GATE before becoming the assistant principal at Eileen Conners Elementary School prior to being appointed to Ruthe Deskin Elementary School.  I have been married for five years and we have two beautiful boys.
