MISSION STATEMENT

Diaz Elementary School is dedicated to empowering each student to live every day with a purpose and to achieve social and academic success.  Where expectations are high and diversity embraced, our students will reach their full potential as life-long learners and productive citizens in our global society.

We are proud to be one of the first elementary  schools  in the Clark County School District to implement the innovative Single Sex Classroom program along with our “Sister School”, Manuel J. Cortez Elementary School.

Ruben P. Diaz Elementary School is a year-round school which opened its doors to students in August 2008.
