Dorothy Eisenberg Career Day

     The Dorothy Eisenberg annual Career Day was held on May 13th, 2009.  All Eisenberg and Kahre fifth grade classrooms participated in this event.  The students listened to the speakers talk about their careers:  Zach Caponga, Military; Allen Maynard, Professional Bass Fisherman; Amy Trumble, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant; David Byerman, Chief Government Liason of Nevada; Martin Ayala, Curator/Life Science Manager; Rejean St. Jules, Entertainer (Juggler);  Mary Lou Borden, Chef; Jimmy Gardner, Assistant Manager of Krispy Creme; Rani Snyder, Program Officer at the Health Foundation.  The guest speaker for the day was Jared Fisher who is the president and director of Escape Adventures, is an entrepreneur, and owns and operates two bicycle shops.  Mr. Fisher talked with students about setting goals, working hard, and the importance of continuing their education.
