Reading - Trophies

By clicking on the "Reading - Trophies" hyperlink above, parents and teachers alike can visit the harcourt website and access a variety of literacy activities we use to conduct language arts instruction in our school.

Ticket to Read

The "Ticket to Read " hyperlink includes many entertaining reading activities for children and all revolve around instructional objectives in literacy that supplement our Trophies and Voyager Programs.

Starfall

Beginning readers from kindergarten to the early elementary school grades all enjoy this site. The "Starfall" hyperlink includes a module where students can learn both letter recognition and the sounds they represent. It also includes beginning reading anthologies that allow students to both read and listen to the correct pronunciation of the written word.

Study Island

Study Island is a program that focuses on all of the reading and math skills that students in 2nd thru 5th grade will find on our standardized CRT tests. When your child clicks on the "Study Island " hyperlink and enters his or her user i.d. and password, they can complete activities that are not only fun but will help prepare them for our standardized testing.

Fun Brain

This is a very popular website of both teachers and students alike. By clicking on the "Fun Brain " hyperlink above students can participate in reading and math activities that keep them engaged and make learning an enjoyable activity.

Cool Math

Cool Math is an amusement park of math and more. This website makes math both interesting and fun for even the student who gets bored easily. The "Cool Math" hyperlink takes math students in the higher elementary grades on a math journey they will enjoy as even the most difficult concepts are made crystal clear.

A Plus Math

A Plusool Math is a very popular website in our school. This website provides a variety of activities students can use both in school and at home. Flash cards, games, and homework helper are just a few of the interesting things for students to do. Just one click on the "A+ Math " hyperlink takes you there.

Pearson Success Net

This is the website our teachers and students use for both in-class instruction and home exercises.
Students can click on the hyperlink above for in-class activities or at home when working to improve
their math skills.
