G-Squared is an after school program that provides learning opportunities as well as recreational activities for all Garside students. The program runs Monday through Thursday from 2:45 until 4:45. Students meet at 2:15 in the cafeteria where they are provided with a snack before classes begin.  Students are then dismissed to their classes.  From 2:45 until 3:45 students attend a Power Hour class that emphasizes academic improvement.  From 3:45 until 4:45 students attend an Enrichment Hour class that allows them to participate in sports like football, soccer, kickball and dodge-ball, or in activities like video games and internet club.  Students are expected to be picked up by a parent or guardian when the program dismisses for the day unless they walk or ride their bike home.  Parents are encouraged to enroll their children and kids are encouraged to invite their friends to join.  It’s free, it’s fun, it’s G-Squared.
