LATEST NEWS

New information posted about school lunches on our cafeteria page.

HannahMorganCongratulations to Morgan Fletcher and Hannah Heitzman on their outstanding graphic designs.  Morgan designed the graphic for the 8th grade Disneyland T-shirt.  These shirts were worn by 110 8th grade students for the annual 8th grade Disneyland trip.
Hannah Heitzman designed the graphic for the back cover of next year's agenda book.  Every student in the school will get an agenda next year and they will carry her art design for the entire year!

Thank you so much Hannah and Morgan for a job well done.  Congratulations on winning your respective graphic design contests.

Let It Rip
Tear Off Your Box Tops for Greenspun Junior High

boxtopDid you know Greenspun JHS participates in the Box Tops for Education program?  That’s right, the same program that elementary schools use successfully to earn a lot of money for extra programs at their schools.

So start saving your box tops and encourage your student to drop them off in the Counseling Office.  You can’t miss the official box (it’s huge!)  Just starting a collection, great!  Work over the summer to collect as many as you can and drop them off the beginning of the 2010/2011 school year.

New to box tops?  They are found on items from fruit snacks to cake mix boxes, to diapers, toilet paper and anything in between.  Just look for the official Box Tops for Education logo and snip off the coupon.  It’s that easy, we promise.

Let’s work together to help Greenspun JHS earn extra money for programs and supplies that go right back to our kids.

Questions?  Feel free to contact parent volunteers, Ali Thompson (265-8695) or Claudia Schwarz (372-4072)

Greenspun Parents and Friends,

On Thursday, April 29, Mr. Giangrosso and Mrs. Anderson held the annual Greenspun Art Festival and String Ensemble.  It was a great success and our students truly displayed their many talents.  Please stop by the office to see the numerous pieces of art displayed.  You will be amazed!
