Greenspun Junior High School is utilizing ParentLink. ParentLink provides information to parents, teachers, students, counselors, and administrators. ParentLink allows parents to access their students’ grades and attendance. Utilizing ParentLink will assist every parent to become even more involved in the education of their child.

Login / Password Information:
Effective immediately, if parents or guardians need login information, their login information does not work, or they cannot remember their password, parents/guardians should stop by the Attendance counter in the main office. Picture identification will be required. For security reasons, Greenspun JHS does not give out ParentLink login information through email or over the telephone.

Students needing login information should stop into the main office to complete a ‘Request for Student ParentLink Account Information’ form. Forms should be submitted by Thursday each week. Student account information will be sent to his/her 2nd period class on Fridays.

Update ParentLink Email Addresses & Telephone Numbers:
Please check your account information listed under your ‘My Account’ tab for accuracy. You may add additional email addresses or telephone numbers if necessary. However, you may not delete the information that is currently listed. If your email address or phone numbers are incorrect, please stop by the Registrar’s Office at Greenspun to make the necessary changes in our database.
Having an accurate email address listed in ParentLink will allow you to reset your password and have ParentLink email you your new password directly. In order for Greenspun JHS to reset your password, you will need to come into the school’s main office.

Teacher Gradebook Exports to ParentLink:
Teachers are required to export their gradebook information to ParentLink every Thursday. Many teachers export more often than this, but it is not required. The best day to check your ParentLink account for updated gradebook information is on Fridays.
If you have any concerns about your child’s grades, please contact the individual teacher(s). If you have any questions regarding your child’s attendance, please contact the attendance office at 799-0920 x4035.

Parents of Students with Block Period Classes:
If your child is in a two-period blocked class (one teacher for two class periods together), you will only see one grade for both class periods. The grade will show for the first class of the two-period block. For example, if the blocked class is Periods 3 & 4, you will only see a grade for Period 3 posted on ParentLink. Please know that the same grade is also being earned at that time for the second class period.

How to Merge Multiple Accounts:
If you have multiple students within the district and are issued multiple login IDs and passwords, you can merge your accounts. Login to ParentLink using one of your login IDs and passwords (use the account with the login and password that you would like to keep using) and have your other login ID(s) and password(s) available. Click on the My Accounts tab, then the sub-tab Merge Accounts. Enter the login ID and password of your other account(s) into the corresponding fields and click “OK”. A banner will appear indicating that you have successfully merged your accounts and that the login ID and password you just entered are no longer valid.
