The mission of George
E. Harris Elementary School is to meet the academic emotional,
and social needs of all students in order for each individual to realize
maximum academic and social potential for future success.
If you have a child who will turn five before September 30,
2011, he/she is eligible to register for kindergarten.
Please
bring the following when you come to register:
* A Certified copy of your child's birth certificate.
* A record of your child's immunizations.
* One proof of residency (ex: current gas, water, or power bill,
mortgage/rent receipt, etc.) If you are living with someone, you will need
a completed residential affidavit notarized and the ID of the person you
are living with.
* Photo ID of Parent.

Families qualify by income level and an application must be submitted each
new school year. For more information visit our website at

The mission of the Nevada PTA is to lead, train and encourage
parents, teachers and community to advocate for the education, health and
welfare of all children and families.
Remember
to turn in General Mills Box Tops. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents & Bonus
Box Tops are worth 30 cents each.
Parent
Reminder:
When
picking up your child early from school, check in with the office personnel
and present a Photo ID. Students who leave early will be counted as a ½ day
absence. Students will not be pulled out of class prior to arrival of parent
or guardian. If you know you have an appointment, please allow yourself
enough time for the office to verify ID and wait for your child to make it to
the office.
