Halle Hewetson Elementary School is located in the East Region of the Clark County School District. The school opened in 1960 and currently serves approximately 1000 students in grades K through 5. Over half of our teachers have Master's Degrees and virtually all of our teachers have been certified as Highly Qualified.
Our School has two complete computer labs, one for our primary grade students and the other for intermediate grades. In addition our classrooms average between 4 and 5 computers. Our students have easy access to the latest technology, which is integrated into many of our academic programs.
In addition to our strong focus on Reading, Writing and Math our students take special classes in Art, Music, Library and P.E. Science, Health and Social Studies are also a part of our curriculum.
Our campus is located in downtown Las Vegas, within walking distance of a large City Library and 2 excellent museums. Halle Hewetson is in an ideal location for walking fieldtrips to places where our students can explore the history and culture of the world they live in.
