Halle Hewetson's Parent Library is now open every Monday and Thursday from 3:30 until 4:30 in room 40. All parents of Halle Hewetson students are invited to join. You need to fill out a simple form and then you can check out up to 3 books. The books in our library are designed for you to read with your children. Your children are, of course, welcome to come with you to our library to help you select books. Most of our books are in both Spanish and English. Parents are also encouraged to take quizzes on the books after reading them with your children. A prize is awarded each month to the parent who receives the most 100% scores on these quizzes. The beauty of this system is that these are the same quizzes that students are actually taking during the school day, so it is a unique way for parents to participate in their children's education. We encourage you to participate. When you pick up your sons and daughters on a Monday or Thursday, just drop by room 40 and visit with us.
