Students at Hyde Park Middle School have the right to:

...share in decision making and the acceptance of responsibility within acceptable guidelines offering security.
...know that they are more important than the program or curriculum.
...have a “catch up” time during which they may consolidate and expand the skills they should have learned.
...find, in the extracurricular programs, satisfying activities which engage their attention and meet their individual needs.
...make an orderly and sensible transition from elementary to secondary education.
...feel safety and security while going to and from school, while on campus, or while participating in any school-sponsored program.
...receive courtesy and respect from students, teachers, and other adults on campus.
...act responsibly.
...have up-to-date and pertinent studies with equipment and materials of good condition.
...have a clean and pleasant school setting.
