Imagine being able to see your child's grades, homework or attendance any time you wish. Unfortunately, this valuable information often never gets to the people who have the greatest influence on a student’s education, or if it does, arrives much too late to do any good. Parent Link remedies this information gap by making students' records viewable on the Internet. Authorized users, whether at home, school, work, the library, or around the world, are now able to access this critical information.
Johnston Middle School is very pleased to announce that we have Parent Link available for you to access. Simply by clicking on the Parent Link logo or menu selection, parents, students and educational personnel are able to stay informed on current grades, homework, attendance, course history, standardized test scores, discipline and health records.
Only authorized users with a valid User ID and password are able to view ParentLink Online data. Parents and guardians will need to appear in person during the 2006-2007 school year and show a photo ID before they will be able to activate a user account.

Has your phone been ringing in the evening with calls from Johnston Middle School? If so, then you may already be aquatinted with our Parent Link automatic dialing system that notifies parents and guardians whenever their child has an unverified absence. Students may receive an unverified absence by being more than 30 minutes late to a class or totally missing one or more periods during the day. There may be times when you are mistakenly notified of an approved absence like when your child is in the Counselor's office or Health office. If you are unsure about a reported absence or would like more information, please contact our Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Krause, at 799-7001 extent ion 4044.
