The No Place for HateŽ campaign empowers elementary, middle, and high school students to promote respect for individual and group differences while creating inclusive school environments where all students feel valued and respected.
The goals of this campaign are to combat prejudice and to stop those who, because of hate or ignorance, would hurt anyone or violate their civil rights. By participating in No Place for HateŽ activities, schools educate their students to foster understanding of the many cultures, religions, and traditions that are shared by members of our increasingly diverse and growing community.
- We will work together to stop name calling, bullying and any kind of actions that would hurt someone or enter into their personal space.
- We will learn about other cultures and lifestyles.
- We will help our peers by being allies.
- We will be kind to one another.
- We will teach our parents, siblings, friends and others about No Place for HateŽ.
- We will respect those around us, because everyone has the right to be safe and learn.
- We can make a difference.
