The 2004 Kim Science Fair was a great turnout! Students really put forth their best in completing science projects for the fair this year and it showed. There were over 300 students who participated. The multi purpose room was overflowing with great experiments, observations, inventions, and collections! The staff at Frank Kim would like to give a special thanks to all students who participated this year, they did a wonderful job!

The fair was held on February 23- 24, 2004. Our science teacher, Ms. Perrin, and several parent volunteers helped to setup and coordinate the fair this year. The projects were judged by a team of 10 teachers at Frank Kim Elementary. Grading for projects was based on the steps of the scientific method, organization, student work, and creativity. We had a first, second and third place winner from each grade level as well as several honorable mentions. Science fair winners received a ribbon or certificate at the Kim awards ceremony.

In addition to the regular science fair, some classes participated in a multimedia science fair. Teachers and students worked together to create a classroom science experiment and posted it for viewing on our school web site. Go check it out!
