In 2000 the ECSs in the Southwest Region decided to integrate technology with the Science Fairs. Following the example of Piggot Elementary, we started by using KidPix Studio Deluxe software. Projects were done on a voluntary basis by classrooms and students. These projects were done in addition to the regular science fair project and were designed to simply be another way of presenting the information.
