Morning Opening

At Kitty Ward Elementary, we have created a consistent procedure for “Morning Opening.”  Each day your children will line up on a designated “ray of sunshine” when the instrument group plays the music for the morning.  This morning opening ensures that your child is greeted each and every morning by his/her classroom teacher. A different class presents before the group of students each week focusing attention on the habits and attitudes children need to do well in school and life. It is also a means of focusing our attention each day on our mission and beliefs at Kitty Ward Elementary.
