Hello, my name is Ms. Le Beau, the GATE teacher at Kitty Ward Elementary School. I feel it is an honor to work with your gifted children. I take the task seriously, but with a sense of humor.

My teaching experience includes both elementary and middle school. In all my years of teaching, science has been the core of instruction. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Michigan in Science Education, K-8. I then added a Science Certificate from CCSD to enrich my science knowledge. I also completed a Master’s degree in Health Education with a counseling focus from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. My most recent education endeavor was to add the GATE endorsement to my teaching license.

In addition to teaching GATE, I teach graduate classes for UNLV and serve on the Nevada State Science and Math Cadre. When not at work, I enjoy visiting national parks, book club, movies, and hiking with my dog, Glacier. Click here to connect to our GATE website
