I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I offer you 32 years of teaching and administrative experience. My concentration has always been with the primary grades. My last teaching experience had been at Mitchell Elementary School as a first grade teacher. I found the school and the Boulder City community to be very warm and supportive. When I was assigned to administrative duties as an assistant principal, one of my goals was to return to Mitchell and the community as an administrator. Now that I have accomplished this, I look forward to working collaboratively with our sister school, Martha P. King. The community has always supported our school and I personally commit to continue and improve this strong relationship. Mitchell School has always had a tradition of academic excellence. I plan to maintain this tradition with staff and community involvement. I would like to extend to you an invitation to visit YOUR school and witness all the wonderful things that the teachers and your children are accomplishing. My door is always open and please feel free to offer suggestions, criticisms, or concerns. You will discover that my management style is positive and relaxed. I look forward to serving your children and our community for years to come.
