About Us:
Northwest Career and Technical Academy is in its third year of operation with students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.  Northwest Career and Technical Academy is located in a fast growing community of homes and businesses in the northwest area of Las Vegas, Nevada.  It is a magnet school that serves a diverse student body.  The student population is over 1600 and has a student/teacher ratio of 28­/­1.  The school population primarily draws from northwest Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as other areas of Clark County.

The school is in a new building located in Las Vegas and is completely networked.  Instructional components consist of four full computer lab classrooms, three full computer laptop cart labs for teacher check out, and various mini desktop and laptop labs throughout the campus in relation to program areas.  Every classroom has at least one computer.   A computer lab is available in the library for research and information access.
