End of the Day
To decrease classroom interruptions visitors will not be permitted to enter the building between 2:45 pm and 3:21 pm. Also, students will not be released between these times unless preapproved with a note to the teacher. Your child will be sent to the office at the specified time.

New Parking Policy
Due to increase of student population, we are forced to close the school parking lot to public traffic after 3:10 pm every school day. Also, there will be no access or parking in the circular driveway in front of the school unless you have a Kinder Pass. The safety of Ober students is our #1 priority! Be advised that police officers will be handing out tickets to those that park illegally and/or make illegal U-turns.

School parties
School parties will be held to recognize certain holidays. Exact day will be announced during the year. Birthday parties are considered a function of the home and invitations should not be distributed at school.

AB42- Obedience to School Crossing Guard
All drivers are required to stop in obedience to the direction or traffic control signal of a school crossing guard and will not proceed until the highway is clear of all persons, including without limitation the school crossing guard. This means traffic must STAY STOPPED until the guard and children have cleared the street and are up on the curb. Officers will ticket vehicles not complying with this law. The fine will be $95.

School Telephone and Messages
School telephones are for school business and are to be used by students ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. The phone will not be available at the end of the day until 3:35 p.m. Only in an EXTREME emergency will a class be interrupted to deliver a message to a student or teacher; however, a message may be left and a student or teacher may respond during a lunch break or before leaving campus at the end of the day.
