TDAP Immunization Required for 7th grade students before August 2010
All students entering the 7th grade in August, 2010, must have a Tdap vaccination prior to the first day of school. If your child has received this immunization, please provide a copy of the immunization record to our Health office. Please feel free to attend one of the CCSD Back to School Fairs.
Senate Bill #163 about cyberbullying and bullying was recently passed in Nevada's Legislature & will be enacted on July 1, 2010 in EVERY school district and school in Nevada.
Back to School Fairs
1. The Clark County Health District will be at the three Back to School Fairs providing immunizations:
Meadows Mall - Saturday, August 14, 2010, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Boulevard Mall - Saturday, August 21, 2010, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Galleria Sunset Mall - Saturday, August 28, 2010, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
2. Administrative fees for shots range from $16-$25. Some shots may have other fees. Parents/guardians will need to bring their child's shot records and Medicaid or Nevada CheckUp card, if applicable. Culinary insurance is accepted for children through the age of 18.
3. For other locations where Clark County Health District staff will be, parents can call 759-0850 or go to the Ravenholt, East Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas Public Health Centers. For additional information you can visit the Health District’s Web site at www.southernnevadahealthdistrict.org.

1. El Distrito de Salud del Condado de Clark estará ofreciendo servicios en las tres ferias de regreso a la escuela.
Medows Mall - SÁBADO 14 DE AGOSTO DE 10:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.
Boulevard Mall -SÁBADO 21 DE AGOSTO DE10:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M.
Galleria Sunset Mall - SÁBADO 28 DE AGOSTO DE 10:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.
2. Los gastos administrativos para las vacunas varían de $16 a $25. Algunas vacunas pueden tener otros precios. Los padres/tutores necesitan llevar el registro de vacunas de su hijo y la tarjeta de Medicaid o Nevada CheckUp, según corresponda. Upward Bound (UB) is a free college preparatory program, providing low income and first generation college-bound students with the skills and motivation necessary to complete high school and graduate from college. The Nevada State College UB Project serves students from Basic and Eldorado High Schools. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and free to all enrolled participants.
