Required Student Materials

What do I Need to Bring to School?
You are to bring student materials and books to class each day. As you report to class, your notebook, text, pen or pencil, and homework should be on top of your desk. All other materials should be under your desk. When these items are checked at certain times, you will receive credit for being prepared.

All students at Sawyer are required to have the following materials with them at school:

Notebook — You must have at least one three-ring binder.

Notebook Paper — Each student should have a supply of three-hole punched, standard rule paper. Narrow-lined paper and spiral notebook paper which has a ragged edge are unacceptable.

Index Tabs for Your Notebook — Notebooks are to be divided as directed by your teachers.

Student Agenda — This agenda is an important reference resource for you. You will be expected to write your assignments in the planner section of the handbook each day. Pages must not be removed from the agenda. Replacement cost for a new handbook is $5.00 per book.

Writing Materials — Each student needs to have at least two #2 lead pencils along with a blue or black pen. Porous tip pens and permanent markers (ex. Sharpies) are unacceptable and will be confiscated.

Miscellaneous Materials — The following materials are also needed: Plastic pencil bag, set of colored pencils (10-12), eraser, protractor, ruler, and calculator.
