As I find art projects that I’ve done throughout grade school, and now middle school, I see how I’ve improved. Even just seeing art projects done last month makes me fell I have and can continue to get better if I want too. In my artwork, I want the viewer to feel the mood that I feel while painting, whether it be confusing, optimistic, sad, or spiritual. Painting and drawing always lifts my spirit and calms me. Although neither of my parent are artistic, I’ve had great art education from school and also from my grandmother, who paints professionally. She shares her personal thoughts and experiences while my art teachers share important strategies and teach me skills that have made me a better artist. M goal is to take as many art classes in high school and eventually get an art scholarship to BYU or other art colleges. In the future I’d like to use art for book illustrations and as a hobby. I hope my children to have the same desire as I do at a young age to expand their creativity and perceive life in an optimistic way and uplifting light.
