Born on September 3, 1948 in Easton, Pennsylvania, William E. Snyder ("Bill") moved to Las Vegas in 1978. He is the President of the firm Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects as well as a veteran, artist, athlete, mentor and family man. Using his professional standing to promote and form partnerships with educational systems, he has demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of education and educational opportunities. A struggling student whose own calling was sparked by an encouraging teacher, Bill Snyder awakens and nurtures potential. Bill has lead pro-bono design teams and orchestrated fund-raising of educationally unique and inspiring environments better known as "destination classrooms". Bill Snyder's innovative programs have empowered youth to dream and his mentoring guides them to follow their visions. On Sunday, November 4, 2001, Bill Snyder ran the New York Marathon. He dedicated the 26.2 mile run to collecting donations for the "Twin Towers Fund", a united and coordinated effort to assist victims of the September 11 disaster. The Third and Fifth Graders at Snyder ES assisted him in this effort. |
