Athletic Dept Rules and Regulations ___________________________________________________ Family Athletics Events ProgramEffective Monday, September 1, 2008, all paid athletic events in above schools will be geared toward the family and community with an emphasis on supporting the safety and entertainment of our students and community. With the support of the Clark County School District’s Police Department, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the Southwest Region and the local community, the following will be implemented at all home (high schools) paid athletic contests. __________________________________________________ Student Athletic Insurance Students that need insurance in order to participate in athletics this year can pick up insurance forms from the athletic office. The options for coverage is strictly up to the parent/guardian. __________________________________________________ Athletic Packet Information See the Athletic Office, Ms. Minggia, or your coach to pick up an athletic packet for the upcoming school year. A $10 fee will be required for every athletic packet submitted. A new packet must be completed each year. A physical must be obtained every two years. Only one packet is required per year for students who play more than one sport. This fee will cover the cost of processing the packet and the Impact test fee. No student athlete will be able to try out and compete for Spring Valley until the packet is complete and the fee has been paid. Fees can be paid to Ms. Minggia, Athletic Director, the School Banker, or to the Athletic Office. Please contact the Athletic Office for more details.
