No More Accelerated Program?
No More Explorations Program?
Starting next year, Staton will no longer receive grant money to help fund these programs (and many more). These programs were funded by grant money from the Lincy Foundation and the Nevada Women’s Philanthropy. Unfortunately, the grant from the Lincy Foundation expired at the end of the 2010-11 school year, and the grant from the Nevada Women’s Philanthropy will expire at the end of the 2011-12 school year. Fortunately you can help with a Pioneer Pledge. Visit the Parents page to donate now.

What Gives?
NEW - A Great New Way To Support Our School
This year, we are participating in a new fundraising program called What Gives?™ It is unique from our other fundraising programs because it pays monthly, it is easy to do, and it supports our local businesses.

What Gives?™ is a daily deals website with a philanthropic twist. It is a place to purchase discounted deals like a pizza, oil changes, spa days and even weekend get-a-ways. Up to 40% of What Gives?™ profits are given back to local schools and community organizations that participate. details | website

Box Tops - Super Easy Way To Support Staton
The Box Top 4 Education Challenge has begun!!. It will be going on now until January 20th. The class who collects the most BoxTops wins a pizza party! There are envelopes outside of each classroom for collection, just send your BoxTops to school with your student.

Check Out Our Community Sponsors!
We're grateful for the support we receive from both Staton families and from our local community! Click here for a look at some of those community sponsors, and be sure to thank them next time you do business with them.

BEST Volunteer Job At Staton: Parent Tutoring Program

Teaching experience is not required. You may choose to tutor a K-5 student in language arts and/or math. 30 minutes a week is all it takes to make a difference in a child's life forever. Contact Cathy Lozano by email for more details.

Principal Gardner

My vision for Staton Elementary School is to provide an environment that is safe and orderly where students are engaged and excited about coming to school and learning. I believe that we are a school community that reaches for the stars. We climb high, climb far, and aim for the sky. Perseverance is the investment. Success is the return.
