Learnin' in the Library

Dear Third Grade Book Club Member,

          Our second Third Grade Book Club Meeting was held on Nov. 17th .  There were thirty students discussing the book, The Last Holiday Concert by Andrew Clements. A big thanks to our teacher and parent volunteers who once again helped make it a success; Mrs. Sellinger, Mrs. Flores, Mrs. Riggs, Mrs. Dion, Mr. O’Connell, Mrs. Gallegos, Mrs. Tobin and Mrs. Norris.    
          The book that has been chosen for the next meeting is, The Magician’s Elephant by Kate DiCamillo.  I have a two copies available for check out in the library.  The book may also be purchased at the Book Fair for $16.99 or I can order it directly from Scholastic with a pre-paid order.  We will not be meeting in December due to the busy holidays. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 26thth  at 8:00a.m. in the library.  If you have questions, you know where you can find me.
