Mr. Fredric W. Watson was an exceptional principal for twenty-two years. His style of leadership was quiet, yet powerful. He was energetic, hard working and good-natured. Mr. Watson's style was one of encouragement rather than force which achieved not only excellent results with students, parents and faculty, but developed leadership, cooperation and spirit to all who were in contact with him. As an innovator, he has able to see the whole picture when others just saw parts. He made it possible for the students of his schools to experience real-life learning activities that stimulated curiosity and excitement for learning.
