A Message from the Principal:

Welcome to Watson! I am honored to be the principal of a school where every child is enthusiastic about learning. Our caring and conscientious staff provide a quality education everyday in order prepare our children for their postsecondary education.

Please take a few minutes to become familiar with our website, which contains imporant information about our school. We welcome you to volunteer in your child's classroom, attend our family events, and monthly Parent Advisory Council(PAC) meetings. Together, we will ensure that our children receive the best education possible. I welcome your feedback and look forward to meeting you in the future!

A Message from the Assistant Principal:

For the second year, I am proud to be the assistant principal at Watson Elementary working with students in pre-school special programs through fifth grade.  Last year, we accomplished a lot.  Our attendance rate increased.  More students showed improvement on the CRTs.  We had fewer discipline referrals.  All that data translates into success in working toward our goals. Teachers are excited about this year and feel that students are continuing to progress and demonstrate increased achievement.  Parents and guardians are supportive and willing to team with teachers to ensure that their children learn in and out of school.  I am thrilled to be at Watson Elementary for the 2009-2010 school year.
